Volunteer With Us!

LWDA thrives on compassionate and caring people like you! We would not be where we are today without the compassionate help of our Volunteers. We are looking for capable individuals interested in helping us further our mission of keeping performing arts outlets together with academics. Our Volunteers must stand for, and engage in our Mission, and values, as well as model themselves in the community as positive representatives of our organization. We offer opportunities to capable individuals, beginning at the high school level, progressing to the corporate level of involvement. Our organization has a history of offering Volunteer opportunities to High School and College Students who are in need of fulfilling community service hours. Young people who have an intrinsic passion for Dance and the Arts are great Volunteers; serving as role models and advocates. Our Adult Volunteers who stand firm in providing a lasting, positive and intelligent example for generations of youth to come, are so deeply appreciated. They also deliver important life and work experience in future professions that our students might be interested in. Volunteers are a vital part of the classroom and company. They help reinforce respect, team work, choreography, life skills, history, and discipline in the art of dance. They also reinforce key terminology that students will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
