Leah Willis Dance Arts Steams Ahead In a New State: Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club in St. Louis, MO Hosts LWDA Innovative Dance/Academic Workshop

Leah Willis Dance Arts wastes no time acclimating to the community and surroundings of a new atmosphere it seems. As a fresh new Non-Profit to the dynamic St. Louis Missouri scene, LWDA has already gotten their feet wet by diving right in to share their Curriculum offerings and academic-enhancing Dance Styles to the youth. The Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club on Grand Avenue will be the first facility to host LWDA, and they are quite excited. "Thank you for providing this opportunity!" exclaimed Mr. Reginald Jones, Director of the Herbert Hoover Club. "This is what we do, and I am thrilled for every opportunity to reach the youth in a tangible and effective way," Ms. Willis, CEO of LWDA explained. "Doing what I love has also transformed into something that changes lives positively for others. That is spectacular to me."

The workshop will take place on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017. The students will not be charged to participate, which makes this opportunity for Arts exposure all the more accessible. Thanks to a continued partnership with Kohl's Cares Associates in Action, LWDA is able to carry out their mission to educate, inspire and expose students of all ages to Dance and the Performing Arts, while fortifying academic learning and retention. Inevitably, World Cultures and History become divulged as part and parcel within the LWDA experience, and the result is a comprehensive well-rounded, one-of-a-kind and exciting experience.
